Guillaume Pineault
Guillaume Pineault is a French-Canadian comedian who has garnered immense popularity in a short period. Pineault has been a regular in comedy festivals and television, and the audience loves him for his unique style of wit. In addition, he has a distinctive voice, which he uses to his best advantage while performing on stage.
Pineault is mainly known for appearing in comedy festivals like Zoofest and Just for Laughs. His performances draw heavy crowds, and he often engages with the audience in light-hearted banter. The best thing about his shows is his impromptu responses to what the audience is doing.
Rise as Comedy Star and Stage Personality
Although Pineault has appeared on television and radio, he is best known for his stand-up routine on stage. One of his first shows was A Solid Plan B. He later appeared in the Potter Comedy Show at Zoofest. He started performing at Zoofest almost every year and gained a huge fan following because of it. Some of his most notable performances there were "At Home," "My Blonde's Last Hour," and "Candid."
Pineault also got an opportunity to open for Phil Roy. He also performed at Ha! Gala Comedy by Phil Roy and later, Just for Laughs gala by Laurent Paquin. He also performed at the Wine Gala and Tributes to Greater Montreal Comedy. He also became a part of the ROSEQ Tour. After doing the opening act for Patrick Groulx, he also performed in a one-person show, Detour. He also made an appearance on "The Parallel Project: Evenings of Humor" by Phaneuf. In between his stage performances, he also started making regular television appearances. He appeared in the Big Laugh Comedy Club and was also a collaborator at Musique+Noovo. He was also a part of Clan Wars on Noovo.
Pineault did quite a few open-mic shows for television as well. His open mic with Katherine Levac and Patrick Groulx was very well received. One of his best shows was the Skeletons in the Closet on Radio-Canada Tele, and another was Awesome! at Tele-Quebec. He also did quite a few shows on the radio, and he is frequently invited to star in talk shows and podcasts as well.
