Early Life
Jim Florentine was born in New Jersey. He went to St. Ambrose Catholic School when he was young. He listens to metal music all the time. His father wanted to start a family hot dog business, but it didn't work out, so they stopped it. American stand-up comedian, TV host and actor Jim Florentine is a household name. He is touring the country with Don Jamieson.
Career
Jim Florentine put out Telemarketers Volume 1 on Amazon.com in July 2001. He started his career in comedy clubs in New York City in 1993. Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla hired him to start a show called Crank Yankers on Comedy Central in 2002. He played Ed's older cousin, a mentally disabled teen who was a drunk and a slob. Eminem liked his character, so he invited him to do prank calls with him in the Detroit Studio for the new season of Crank Yankers. On the MTV Music Awards show, Jim Florentine and Eminem worked together. He wanted to do stand-up comedy as his first job. He still plays sports in stadiums all over the United States. He often appears on the late-night Fox News Channel show Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld. He will appear on Inside Amy Schumer this season.
In 1993, he got his start in New York comedy clubs. During his teen years, he also had trouble with drugs and alcohol and had to go to rehab a few times. On October 3, 2008, he was on the first episode of Down and Dirty with Jim Norton on HBO. Don Jamieson and Eddie Trunk were also on the show with him.
He played a role in the MTV comedy Apt.2. Jim has been on Jim Norton's "Down and Dirty Show" on HBO. He was Greg Gutfeld's guest on the late-night Fox News show "Red Eye." He also went on tour with the Killers of a Comedy.
