New York Giants Games
The “New York Giants” is a professional American Football team situated in the metropolitan area of New York City. The team is part of the East Division, which plays in the National Football Conference (NFC) of the National Football League (NFL).
In the year 1925, the New York Giants were one of the five teams in the NFL. Out of the five teams, which joined the league in 1925, the team is the only one still existing. The Giants are also recognized as the longest-established team in the National Football League (NFL) based in the Northeastern United States.
Along with the New York Jets, the team plays their home games at the MetLife Stadium, located in the East Rutherford, New Jersey. Their summer trainings are done at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center situated in the Meadowslands Sports Complex.
In their gaming history since 1925, the team compiled an outstanding winning records. Among all the league’s franchises, the team ranked 3rd in the line next to the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. In fact, the team appeared in the championship games 19 times and compared with the other NFL teams, they had more exposures in the football field.
For the record, the team has featured many great players in the Hall of Fame, including the league’s Most Valuable Players (MVPs) Frank Gifford, Lawrence Taylor, Mel Hein and Y.A Title.
The ‘New York Giants’ changed its name into ‘New York Football Giants’ after the team was officially incorporated as the “New York National League Football Company, Inc.” in the year 1937. The team moved to San Francisco to play for the 1957 season using the same name ‘New York Football Giants’. The team got various nicknames given by their fans, critics and supporters such as the ‘G-Men’, ‘Big Blue’ and the ‘Jints’. Through decades of playing, the team’s most heated rivalry is the Philadelphia Eagles, which has also been recognized as the best rivalry in the National Football League (NFL).
